GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) -Firefighters were called to a south Grand Island fire on Friday.
The fire was reported at 7:46 p.m. near West Cougar and South Antelope drives.
Local4 spoke with fire captain Zach Moul, who said that the Bauer Built Tire & Service warehouse in the area had active fire on the roof and back of the building when The Grand Island Fire Department arrived.
According to a reporter on the scene, just after 9 p.m., smoke could still be seen coming from the area with firefighters still responding.
Moul said that The Grand Island Fire Department dispatched at 7:51 p.m., with the first arriving at 7:56 p.m. By 8:48 p.m., the department declared the fire to be completely under control. The fire was contained before spreading to any nearby businesses or buildings and no on
