PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Peoria Police are investigating after a Saturday night home invasion led to two people being shot.

Police said that two men, ages 29 and 31, were both shot in the leg and taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers were called around 6:50 p.m. to a home in the 1400 block of West Covington Court.

During the investigation, two other men, 30-year-old Percy E. Cook III, the tenant of the home, and 27-year-old Eugene Qualls were found inside and taken to the police department to be questioned.

A search warrant for the home revealed items consistent with the sale of illegal drugs, including packaging materials, a digital scale, and a large amount of cannabis, along with a large amount of currency.
