Carabao Cup holders Newcastle United continue their defence of the trophy tonight as they take on Tottenham Hotspur in round four at St James' Park.

Both Eddie Howe's side and Thomas Frank's Spurs are managing a heavy workload right now, with this match falling inbetween Champions League weeks and important Premier League fixtures. United need no reminding of how important this competition is to them, of course, after winning the trophy by beating Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley last March.

Newcastle are expected to make several changes to their starting line-up as Howe looks to keep things fresh, while Spurs could be wirhout ten players through injury.
