EL PASO, Ill. – An El Paso man has been arrested on a federal warrant for allegedly making threats against the President.

Officers with El Paso Police and the FBI made a traffic stop Tuesday night just after 7:30 P.M. near Main and Fayette. Police say the driver of the vehicle was Derek Lopez, and was taken into custody without incident.

Lopez was questioned by FBI and Secret Service agents at the El Paso Police Department, then arrested and taken to the Woodford County Jail under federal detention.
