The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) has unveiled its roster for Team SJHL U19, ahead of the Western All-Star Challenge taking place November 3–5 at the Martensville Recreation Centre — and several local players will be representing their communities on the big stage.

Among those selected are Melville Millionaires teammates Wesley Olson and Preston Baerwald, Yorkton Terriers defenceman Thomas Ries, Whitewood’s Hudson Brehaut of the Flin Flon Bombers, Lipton’s Connor Miller of the Humboldt Broncos, and Kelvington’s Tristin Ziola of the Melfort Mustangs.

The event, featuring top players from both the SJHL and the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), serves as an important showcase for scouts from the NHL, WHL, NCAA, and U SPORTS, and acts as a selection opportunity for Team Canada
