LAWRENCE — With each Kansas basketball preseason comes the question of whether any players will redshirt.
It’s been a topic, certainly, as the Jayhawks have played their exhibition games in recent days. No. 19 KU went on the road and beat No. 10 Louisville before returning to Lawrence and beating Fort Hays State at home. Knowing the answer to that question helps create some more certainty on what to expect as the regular season plays out.
But while Kansas coach Bill Self has decided freshman guard Corbin Allen will redshirt this season, whether anyone else will remains unclear. As Self mused about it Tuesday, after a 71-35 win in Allen Fieldhouse against Fort Hays State, he left the door open to more moves in that regard.
