DAMARISCOTTA, Maine (WABI) - Human remains discovered over the weekend in a wooded area may be those of a man who has been missing for more than five months, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said.
A landowner walking his property found the remains Sunday, authorities said.
Investigators determined the remains are possibly those of Tyler Low, 34, of Damariscotta, who was reported missing by his family in May.
Low’s family was notified of the discovery.
The remains were taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office for positive identification and to determine the cause of death. The Sheriff’s Office said there’s no evidence of any crime.
