Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla on Wednesday slammed the opposition Congress after a purported video of its Assam leader Bidhu Bhushan Das singing the Bangladeshi national anthem went viral on social media.
Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Poonawalla accused the Congress party of being an admirer of Bangladesh.

“Singing Bangladesh’s national anthem from a Congress stage in Assam is the latest proof of this,” he said.
He added Congress and its leaders have long supported Bangladeshi infiltrators, endangering the nation’s unity and security. The BJP leader also linked the Congress and its INDIA bloc ally TMC’s opposition to the SIR exercise to their alleged vote bank politics.
