CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Joe Flacco is 50-50 for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Wednesday.

Flacco suffered what has been reported as a sprained AC joint in last week’s home loss to the New York Jets.

The recently acquired quarterback left the game and it appeared Jake Browning was on the verge of coming in to replace the injured Flacco.

Flacco did return and finished out the game.

Three days later, Flacco is sitting out of practice due to the injury, coach Taylor explained.

“He [Flacco] wants to play in the game,” Taylor expressed to the media during Wednesday’s update. “We’ll have to work through the week to see if he can do that.”

If Flacco cannot play against the Bears, it will be Jake Browning returning to the starting quarterback
