Hyderabad: Amid mounting pressure from the BRS which has been staging protests across Telangana over the non-release of funds, the State government on Wednesday decided to release Rs 303 crore towards Overseas Scholarship dues for SC, ST, BC, OC and Minority students studying abroad.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu directed the Finance Department to immediately release the funds and clear all arrears from 2022 to date in one go.
