Two New Jersey residents wanted in the shooting of a 16-year-old boy earlier this year in Paterson were arrested Tuesday in Florida, authorities said.

Darren Salazar, 19, and Janelly Ramos, 20, were captured in Seminole County, north of Orlando, local NBC affiliate WESH reported.

Cops said Salazar and Ramos are suspected of shooting an unidentified 16-year-old boy on May 11 in Paterson, according to NJ.com. They were both wanted on charges of first-degree attempted murder, and warrants for their arrests were issued Monday.
