Alabama football linebacker Jah-Marien Latham may be out for the season, after a neck injury he suffered in practice days before the Crimson Tide opened SEC play against Georgia.
But Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer said Latham still has a role to play for the team moving forward.
"He's out there today cheering the guys on," DeBoer said on the SEC coaches media teleconference Wednesday, Oct. 29. "You know, just like those guys that we talk about who are on the field and bring great energy, there's so much respect for Jah-Marien. You can see that, and how important it is to him for us to be successful. He's out there cheering us on and helping other guys out: looking at the calls. He's engaged, even understanding his circumstances."
Latham is a sixth-year linebacker out of Reform,
