NORWAY, Maine (WABI) - A fire destroyed a home on Summer Street in Norway just before 11 p.m. Monday night.

One person was home at the time of the fire and was able to get out safely, according to the Fire Marshal’s Office.

Investigators say the fire was caused by careless disposal of smoking materials.

No injuries were reported.
