Two people on a motorcycle were killed after they collided with a vehicle in Deerfield Beach, deputies said.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the crash happened on Oct. 18, near the 1200 block of South Powerline Road.
Deputies said that 65-year-old Douglass Hall was driving a Nissan Rogue on South Powerline Road when he tried to make a U-turn to go northbound on Powerline Road. As he attempted the U-turn, his car's passenger side was struck by the motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 21-year-old Simon Dias Do Dantos.
When BSO and fire rescue crews arrived at the scene, they took Santos and a juvenile passenger who was on the motorcycle to the hospital.
Santos had life-threatening injuries and died at the hospital, while the juvenile passenger was taken
