A Cherry Hill man was arrested and charged after allegedly trying to meet up with a young boy at a dog park for sex on Monday, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

On Monday, Oct. 27, Nimrod Lasman, 62, started a conversation with someone who identified themselves as a 14-year-old boy on an online chat platform, officials said.

According to officials, the 14-year-old boy was really an undercover detective.

During their conversation, Lasman made plans to meet with the boy at the Cooper River Dog Park in Cherry Hill that same day, officials said.

When Lasman showed up to the dog park, he was arrested and taken to the Camden County Correctional Facility, officials explained.
