No trick, just a treat.
Tickets for the March production of "The Phantom of the Opera" will go on sale Thursday for the revitalized tour coming to the Saenger Theatre.
Andrew Lloyd Webber's blockbuster will run March 4-15 for 16 performances as part of the Broadway in New Orleans theatrical season.
Based on Gaston LeRoux's 1910 novel about a skulking specter in the Paris Opera House, the musical exploded onto the London stage in 1986 before coming to America in 1988 and running on Broadway through 2023, making it the longest-running Broadway show in history at almost 14,000 performances.
Focusing on the character of young soprano Christine, the brilliant yet demented musical genius of the Phantom becomes obsessed to the point of murder and mayhem.
