An alleged antisemitic hazing incident at a Rhode Island high school is raising concerns for state officials, who are questioning the school district's response.
The Jewish Alliance of Rhode Island said five Smithfield High School football players locked a freshman student in a bathroom, sprayed Lysol at the student and yelled antisemitic slurs.

NBC affiliate WJAR-TV first reported on the situation on Oct. 10, when the school district released a statement on its investigation.
