Bruce Springsteen joined his fellow E Street Band member Steve Van Zandt for a surprise set at a recent benefit concert in the Northeast.

“The Boss” joined Van Zandt for a three-song set at the guitarist’s TeachRock event at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey on Sunday, Oct. 26, Rolling Stone reported .

The show, which promised “special appearances from some of Stevie’s Disciples [of Soul] and E Street Band family,” was in support of Van Zandt’s nonprofit organization that provides free music education to young children.

Springsteen joined Van Zandt and the Disciples of Soul for renditions of “I Don’t Want to Go Home,” “Raise Your Hand” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze Out,” according to a TikTok .
