The playoffs have arrived.

The path to state sectional champions has been set as the 2025 NJSIAA/Xfinity football state tournament for public schools was officially seeded over the weekend.

NJ.com will be broadcasting games throughout the playoffs, beginning with two games this weekend.

Beginning things on Friday is a rematch from a quarterfinal matchup a year ago as fourth-seeded Wayne Valley (6-3) hosts fifth-seeded Chatham (6-2) in North 1, Group 4. Chatham won the matchup last season, 24-7, picking up its first playoff win since 2015.

Wayne Valley will be looking to avenge that loss from a year ago, while Chatham is looking to end Wayne Valley’s season for the second year in a row.
