GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- City officials in Glens Falls are looking for community members interested in volunteering to serve on the Board of Ethics. Officials announced the search for new members on Wednesday.
The ethics board, comprised of at least five members, meets as necessary. The board gives confidential advice and opinions to city employees and common council members, and meets when sworn written complaints are made.
The city said the board is pursuant to Article 18 of the General Municipal Law and the city's ethics code. Board members must be residents of Glens Falls, and letters of interest can be emailed to cityclerk@cityofglensfalls.com.
