LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A Las Vegas church is stepping up to meet the growing needs of families struggling during the ongoing government shutdown.

The Dream Center, located near Twain Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard, reported a significant increase in the number of individuals seeking food assistance through its ‘Feed Vegas’ program.

Church leaders emphasize that as the community’s need for support grows, so does the church’s call for community partnerships. They encourage anyone who wishes to help or is in need of assistance to reach out.
