Former New York Jets quarterback Jordan Travis claims that he received a hurtful and out-of-line comment from owner Woody Johnson during his short-lived NFL career.
Jordan Travis’ college football career ended when the star FSU quarterback suffered a horrific leg/ankle injury after a dangerous hip-drop tackle against North Alabama. Travis decided to enter the 2024 NFL Draft and was selected in the fifth round (171st overall) by the Jets, with the hope of becoming an eventual successor to then-starter Aaron Rodgers.
Travis missed his entire 2024 rookie year recovering from the gruesome injury. At the advice of doctors, Travis announced his retirement from football in April, days after the 2025 NFL Draft.
