ORLANDO, Fla. – For the first time ever, travelers can now book direct flights between Orlando and Tokyo, creating a link between two of the world’s most visited theme parks: Walt Disney World Resort and Tokyo Disney Resort.
The announcement was made at Tokyo’s Hotel New Otani, drawing executives from Disney, government officials, and tourism leaders.
The nonstop passenger charter service will be operated by ZIPAIR , a low-cost Japanese airline. It marks the first-ever direct flight between Tokyo and Orlando and the first nonstop passenger route connecting Florida with the Asia Pacific region.
