A significant Microsoft outage was impacting customers globally, including police in Ontario, on Wednesday.
Google, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Starbucks, Costco, Capital One, Alaska Airlines, X-Box Live and Amazon were among the many companies reportedly facing issues.
On Wednesday, Microsoft posted on its Azure status page that the company was experiencing issues that could trigger losses of some services. Customers might not be able to access Office 365, Minecraft, or other services due to issues with its global content delivery network services.
“We are working to address an issue affecting Azure Front Door that is impacting the availability of some services,” a Microsoft spokesperson said in an emailed statement, per cnbc.com .
