FOXBORO — The Patriots officially have a third running back on their 53-man roster.
The Patriots signed Terrell Jennings from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on Wednesday. This transaction was anticipated after he used up his third and final elevation from the practice squad last week.

Jennings, who came to the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Florida A&M last year, has seven carries for 33 yards, all in garbage time, this season.
He’ll continue to provide depth behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. The Patriots also have running backs D’Ernest Johnson, Jonathan Ward and Rushawn Baker on their practice squad.
