CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Xavier University will require students to live on campus for three years instead of two beginning Fall 2026, the university announced last week.
The change extends the current two-year housing requirement to include junior year students. Doug Ruschman with the university said the shift aims to increase community belonging and campus vibrancy.
“This puts us in line with Notre Dame, Duke, Georgetown, Loyola, Maryland, Butler, all of them already have three-year plans in place for their students,” Ruschman said.
