FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office found what is believed to be a vehicle of interest in connection to a suspected road rage shooting that left an army veteran dead.
Authorities said that the homicide happened at 11:51 a.m. in the 10500 block of State Highway 6 South on June 21.
Deputies say that the driver of a white Toyota Camry had left the roadway and crashed into a ditch along the southbound lanes of State Highway 6 South. Upon arrival, deputies found the driver, who was an army veteran, identified as 43-year-old Roy Ferrer, dead with a gunshot wound to the head.
According to law enforcement, surveillance video helped them identify a gray 2013 - 2019 Nissan Sentra with dark-tinted windows as a vehicle of interest.
