The first place Longhorns took the last place Kings 17-1 in a lopsided affair at the Morinville Leisure Centre with Quentin Greenwood scoring four and Coy Provost notching a hat trick. Article content Article content
Jake Mykitiuk scored a pair to open the game that was all Longhorns until the third period when the Kings finally got one past goalie Connor Dobberthien.
RJ Reed added a pair himself as did Shaquille Houle with Nikita Kovalenko, Kona Jackson, Dayton Murray and Zane Jones rounding out the scoring.
