Prince Edward County is asking residents to share their thoughts about the new long-term care building project the municipality is currently undertaking.

Construction is underway on the new 160-bed long-term care home in Prince Edward County.

The current H.J. McFarland Memorial Home remains in operation while the new building is under construction.

The new home will include many spacious resident lounges and areas that meet or exceed ministry requirements as well as large open areas for community gatherings, relaxation or entertainment and family visiting.

There will also be enhanced programming and care spaces to improve resident outcomes and extensive landscaping, outdoor walkways, and patios to connect the home to the broader community and Millennium Trail.
