Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani pitched in a losing effort during Game 3 of the 2025 World Series.
However, it sounds like L.A. could still turn to him from the bullpen if needed in any of the future World Series games.
Per L.A. Times columnist Dylan Hernández, Ohtani said he will prepare to be available to pitch in relief if needed for the Dodgers. That's a huge boost to have the best player in baseball right now waiting in the bullpen, but that's maybe what Los Angeles will need to keep quality arms fresh from the mound.
As the series is tied at 2-2, you never say no to having Ohtani available on game day to pitch.
We'll see how Dodgers manager Dave Roberts handles Ohtani's pitching for the rest of the series.
