The weather throughout North Jersey looks fittingly scary leading up to Halloween, though the forecasted rain should be mostly out of the area in time for the holiday's festivities.
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook on Oct. 29 for northeast New Jersey along with parts of New York and Connecticut. The alert calls for 1 to 2 inches of rain through Oct. 30, with wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph.
"Showers will become more numerous late (Wednesday) and Thursday morning leading to a widespread rainfall for much of Thursday," read a post on X from NWS New York.
