Off the coast of New South Wales on Tuesday, Oct. 28, a 2-year-old humpback whale was found dead and entangled in a shark net at Coledale Beach, the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development confirmed per The Guardian and Australian Broadcasting Corporation . The young whale is the fifteenth to become stuck in a net this year, and the first confirmed dead.
