BOISE, Idaho — A memorial dedicated to global human rights efforts in downtown Boise has reopened to the public with improved accessibility following renovations.
The Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial was built in 2002. On Wednesday, Boise city leaders and representatives from the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights gathered at the memorial to celebrate the most significant improvements to mobility and safety infrastructure. The City of Boise said in a news release that it was to "celebrate its importance to Boise, the Treasure Valley, and the State of Idaho."
