Isiah Pacheco injury news: Chiefs get positive update

The Kansas City Chiefs curb-stomped the Washington Commanders 28-7 behind a brutal second-half showing, but there was one sour note for Andy Reid's team - Isiah Pacheco's injury.

With the running back producing his best return for the year (58 rushing yards), Isiah came off the field in the second half with a knee injury. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that Pacheco suffered an MCL sprain, and he was seen happy on the sidelines after the trainers checked him.

But Pacheco wasn't seen practicing on Wednesday as the Chiefs build up for their clash with the Buffalo Bills , and when asked whether Isiah's injury would be a long-term one, Reid's answer will prompt a collective sigh of relief across Chiefs
