President Donald Trump's administration earned low marks from Alex Jones, a high-profile conspiracy theorist, on Wednesday over Trump's actions to accomplish one big goal for the MAGA movement.

Trump campaigned on a promise to end the so-called "deep state," something that MAGA personalities like Jones and Steve Bannon, host of the "War Room" podcast, have regularly talked about with their audiences. On Wednesday, Jones joined Bannon on a new episode of "War Room," where the duo discussed Trump's progress to fight the deep state.

"This is the number one priority because if we don't destroy the deep state, it's going to eventually grow back and infect this republic," Bannon said.

"So, what do we do, sir?" Bannon asked Jones.

"We have to attack," Jones said. "We have to use every resource we have. We have to have full mobilization and we...have to continue to expose these creatures, and their operations."

"We have to continue to cut off their NGO money that they use to finance their base," he continued. "I would give an A for effort by the Trump administration to go after the deep state. I'd give them a B minus or even a C minus for action and delivery."
