QUINCY (WGEM) - The Quincy Police Department reported just before 9 a.m. that they were on the scene of a two-vehicle fatal crash at 14th and Jefferson.

According to QPD, traffic was restricted for a few hours while they investigated.

Adams County Coroner Scott Graham reported there was one fatality in the crash.

A truck and Bethel Assembly of God church bus were seen on the crash site.

Police said there were no children on the bus at the time of the crash.

Neighbors told WGEM News they saw the pick-up truck traveling at a high-rate of speed before the crash.

A pole was reportedly hit during the crash. According to Ameren’s Outage Map, over 500 people in the area of the crash were without power. Just before 4 p.m. Ameren reported that power has been restored to all residents.
