Fifteen people were arrested in the Fox Valley Oct. 29 as a result of a 14-month investigation into a large-scale drug trafficking organization with ties to Mexican drug cartels, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Office .
Charges will be referred to the Brown, Outagamie and Winnebago District Attorney’s Offices, the sheriff's office said, adding that more arrests are expected to be made.
The drug trafficking organization was responsible for distributing large amounts of cocaine and marijuana throughout northeast Wisconsin communities, the sheriff's office said.
On Oct. 29, 11 search warrants were executed in the Village of Bellevue, City of Green Bay, Town of Lawrence and the City of Neenah by the Brown County Drug Task Force in coordination with the Lake Winnebago Area Metropo
