In an extended address on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit on Wednesday, former U.S. President Donald Trump said that the anticipated trade deal with China would benefit both countries. He added that he expected to “seal a great deal” with Chinese President Xi Jinping during their upcoming high-stakes meeting, Al Jazeera reported.
Trump is scheduled to meet Xi on Thursday in the coastal city of Busan, about 85 kilometers south of Gyeongju, marking their first face-to-face encounter since Trump launched his second trade war with China.
