Major search and rescue operations are ongoing to locate two swimmers who have vanished in Queensland.
Emergency services were called to Woongarra Scenic Drive in Bargara in the Bundaberg region about 5.50pm on Wednesday after members of the public reported a swimmer had gone missing.
The man has been described in a police statement as a "Caucasian male with a bald head".
The search was suspended at 10pm but resumed early Thursday morning.
Search crews included specialist police officers, Surf Lifesaving Queensland, State Emergency Service members, Volunteer Marine Rescue, and LifeFlight.
Meanwhile on the same day inland from Gladstone, emergency services were notified a 17-year-old boy had been reported missing in Dumgree in the Shire of Banana.
The teen was last seen with a friend
