( WBRC ) - THE NEXT 24 HOURS: A cold core upper-level low is spinning across Alabama, and this will bring falling temperatures, rain, clouds, and cold conditions through Thursday morning. The rain won’t be heavy but expect more scattered showers and a misty rain to continue off and on through Thursday morning. Don’t leave the house without a jacket and the umbrella! Temperatures overnight will tumble into the 40s. Expect a northwesterly wind around 15 mph Thursday and another dreary start to the day. We won’t start to see some clearing until late Thursday, with highs in the 50s.
