US President Donald Trump met with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping at a South Korean air base for the first time in six years. The meeting revolved around a possible trade war truce between the world's two largest economies.

“We know each other very well, we have a great relationship,” Trump told reporters as he and Xi posed for the cameras. "We are going to have a very successful meeting, there is no doubt. He (Xi) is a very tough negotiator. He is a great leader of a great country. We are going to have a great relationship for a very long time,” he said. Advertisement
