All across Butler County over the past decade, what were once open fields have rapidly been turned into residential developments to feed the county’s ever-growing need for housing in one of the only growing sections of Western Pennsylvania.
One of those developments is Liberty Pointe in Jefferson Township, which is situated on 45 acres of what was once farmland. Local homebuilder Pitell Homes purchased the property in 2021.
According to local real estate agent Marilyn Stahl, who brokered the deal with Pitell Homes, the property was a hot one at the time it was up for sale.
