Gujarat, Oct 30: In a shocking case of drunken driving and hit-and-run, two persons were injured after their motorcycle was hit and dragged for over a kilometre by a car driven by an inebriated teacher on Modasa-Lunawada Road along National Highway 48 in Gujarat’s Mahisagar district.

The disturbing incident, which took place recently, was captured in a 33-second video that has since gone viral. The clip shows the car speeding down the highway with the motorcycle stuck in front, being dragged along the road. One of the riders is seen falling and his hand appears to come under the vehicle’s wheels.

The car driver has been identified as Manish Patel, a teacher, while his brother Mehul Patel, who was also drunk and present in the car, has been arrested. P
