Deepika Padukone is in the news once again after social media users pointed out that her name was removed from the end credits of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. This follows her exit from the second part of 'Kalki' owing to creative differences. Padukone's fans called the production house, Vyjayanthi Movies, petty and unprofessional.
After severe backlash on social media, it now appears that her name has been added to the end credits below Amitabh Bachchan's name. Previously, a few fans shared the screen recording of the end credits, where Deepika Padukone's name was missing.
Here's the video:
It’s not a 'negative campaign' the earlier version didn’t have her name ... it’s been added now. pic.twitter.com/guHY89PYsr https://t.co/lMH9Cd9bi6 — (@lomldeepika) October 29, 2025
