Blake Snell and the Los Angeles Dodgers are on the brink of elimination after dropping Game 5 against the Blue Jays. Snell’s outing was tough as the Blue Jays went deep with back-to-back home runs in the first inning.
The Dodgers pitcher was accountable for five earned runs, and things fell apart as the bullpen entered. Blake Snell failed to deliver what the Dodgers wanted, but he also received no support from the offense, which only added to his misery.
“Pretty unlucky, Vlad that’s just a bad pitch. Then after that, pretty smooth sailing. It’s just unlucky. I’m not one to make excuses… it’s just pretty unlucky. Only so much you can do, and that’s baseball,” Snell said.
