The House of Assembly will reconvene briefly on Monday for the swearing-in of eligible MHAs, and for the election of a speaker.
MHAs will be sworn in at 9:30 in the morning, while the next speaker of the House will be elected at 3:00 in the afternoon.
All of those proceedings will be livestreamed on the House of Assembly’s social media channels.
As for when the House will reconvene for regular business, Premier Tony Wakeham was non-committal when speaking with reporters on Wednesday.
He says all the legislation the previous administration was working on died on the order paper when the election was called.
