It’s a wet start to Thursday across Newark and much of North Jersey, with steady rain already falling and heavier downpours expected as the day progresses.
Good morning, New Jersey. As residents head out the door, umbrellas and jackets will be essential.
Temperatures are hovering around 51 degrees along 15th Avenue and 10th Street in Newark, but a cool breeze and damp air are making it feel chillier.
According to the National Weather Service, moisture moving in from the south will keep the region soggy through the afternoon before rain tapers off later tonight.
While skies will begin to clear overnight, today’s gray and rainy conditions will define much of the day.
Make it a great (and dry) Thursday, New Jersey.
