CINCINNATI, Ohio — The Bengals have been able to do something the last two games that they failed to do in the first six weeks: run the ball well.
They rushed for 142 yards against the Steelers in Week 7 and 181 yards against the Jets in Week 8. The 323 yards they gained in those two games is nearly as many as they had the first six weeks combined (340).
At Wednesday’s media session, head coach Zac Taylor explained how the Bengals finally found their offensive identity through the ground game.
“Sometimes you just get into a rhythm, and things start to click and you find a little bit of your identity in the run game,” Taylor told reporters. “You start to maximize that and then you have some success and then the guys see, ‘All right, we’re working. We’ve got a great cohesive unit here. We
