Police have issued an update after a car hit a pedestrian before ploughing into a Sainsbury's store in Bolton .
Emergency services attended Darwen Road, in Bromley Cross , at around 12.50pm on Monday afternoon (October 27).
A Range Rover struck a pedestrian, a man in his 40s, before hitting the Sainsbury's Local convenience store.
Images from the scene showed bricks out of place after the building had been hit by the car, while a bollard was also knocked over.

Police, firefighters and paramedics all attended the scene, with an air ambulance also called out.
Greater Manchester Police said the pedestrian was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital with potentially life-changing injuries. View 3 Images
