WATERTOWN – School Superintendent Lisa Fekete provided her first update as Superintendent to the Board of Education on Monday, October 27, 2025. Her main topic of discussion was an update on the process she and administrators will use to build a proposed budget for the 2026-27 school year.
Ms. Fekete said she and administrators have developed a draft timeline for this year’s budget process. She said the budget process will be guided by a three-pronged strategy: revised development process, creative cost saving measures, and a rethinking of revenue sources.
